Pink Tower Lamp
Featured in print and online by It’s Nice That and House & Garden, the Pink Tower Lamp is a best seller. Every lamp is hand sculpted by Annie in her South London studio. She starts with building an armature from recycled card. This is followed by the meticulous process of layering paper pulp over the base, adding her unique style of textural relief. Each stage of making is completed in small batches; from the processing of paper pulp, to painting and finishing bases and lamp shades. Annie’s designs are inspired by her training in ceramics and sculpture at Chelsea College of Art & Design, applying techniques learnt from slab building and woodwork. No two pieces are alike and as such, there will always be slight variations, making your lamp a one-off.
Red Tulip Floor Lamp
Specially commissioned for an installation at Atelier100’s West London store, this is a one-off piece. Light bulb is included. H 190cm, W 46cm. Due to the size and delicate nature of this lamp, it must be delivered by a specialist courier. Every lamp is hand sculpted by Annie in her South London studio. Big Dialog cup in blue spaltter and lavender drip
The Big cup! To have a dialog can be quite powerful, you exchange opinions and often spark ideas. If you discuss the matter more than once often new ideas come along. The ceramics have a visual conversation with the observer about their ideas of form, function and material. Handles are placed onto a cylinder shape in various width and height. Depending on the placement the function is determined. Cast Stoneware and glaze. All products are made by hand and can therefore slightly vary in size, colour and placement of handles. While in the kiln the weight of the handles pulls the form sometimes making the vessel slightly un regular shape. They are mostly glazed with a brush by hand and therefor sometimes have brush strokes or other suggestions that the object is made by a human. That is all part of their charm.
Smile love cup
The "Smile love" cup is crafted from colored semi-porcelain clay. It is fired three firings and is decorated with digital decals on a glazed surface. Size: 7.5 x 7.5 x 5 cm. Please note: Each cup is made with hand building technique. Individual size and color may vary slightly.
‘Lucky’ flower vase
‘Lucky flower vase' is part of the 'My Cute Little Friends' series, which is inspired by vintage animal dolls from 60's and 70's Japanese magazines. The four-leaf clover, named 'Lucky', symbolizes good fortune and four of them are hand-painted on the vase. It is adorned with vibrant, kitschy, and contrasting colors that evoke a dreamlike quality. Handmade using a pinching technique, this vase is delicately painted with underglaze on stoneware clay and finished with a glossy transparent glaze inside and out.
